    Resource Coordinator
    National Immigrant Women’s Advocacy Project

    Description:
    The Resource Coordinator will provide technological and data management support to the Project, including importing, managing, organizing and processing data related to a public online library of legal information, client and project files, and other electronic resources. The Coordinator will maintain the National Immigrant Women’s Advocacy Project (NIWAP) website and web library (WordPress), distribute newsletters and action alerts using mass mailing software (via Sendstream) and will develop and maintain NIWAP databases of training registrants and other data (Quickbase) and ensure the information is complete, organized, secure and easily accessible. The Coordinator will plan and implement logistics for conferences including registration forms and data, operating audiovisual equipment and preparing materials as needed. The Coordinator is responsible for all administrative and financial aspects of the program including: employee timesheets, grant reporting and compliance, ordering supplies, scheduling room reservations, arranging travel, and processing requisitions and reimbursements in accordance with AU’s procedures. This position will also provide IT support for training sessions and other programs executed by NIWAP and perform other duties as appropriate. This is a fully grant funded position.

    Educational Requirements:
    Bachelor’s degree required.

    Minimum Requirements:
    At least one year of experience providing administrative support, preferably at not-for-profit organization or educational institution
    Experience organizing and maintaining financial records
    Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
    Strong computer skills, including experience developing and maintaining websites and with data management
    Programming experience with HTML, CSS, and PHP or similar languages
    Advanced knowledge and skill in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    Very good written and verbal communication skills
    Ability to appropriately plan, organize, administer, prioritize, monitor and evaluate the work flow of projects and activities
    Experience supervising and working with interns or volunteers
    Interest in learning and growing professionally

    Preferred Requirements:
    Experience modifying and writing WordPress themes and plugins
    Experience with interactive Flash applets is a plus
    Experience with Quickbase or Microsoft Access, SurveyMonkey, Sendstream or other mailing list software, and similar programs
