Applicants will be responsible for auditing and recommending technology solutions from the perspective of security and be responsible for administering and monitoring those solutions.

 

A background in NIST and PCI compliance best practices and how to run assessments department by department to ensure compliance is a must.

 

The administrator will serve as an advisor for Jr. administrators on staff to help empower and enable them through the process of getting more experience, working towards certifications and providing guidance as needed.

 

Applicants should have an intermediate to advanced understanding of Mac, Systems and Network Administration so as to help the organization make good fiscal & procedural changes and decisions. Applicants will be responsible for facilitating as a project manager as needed.

Duties

Managing all or part of the IT department, including:Directly supervising some employees
Handling employees’ concerns and performances
Communicating with the technology team and other departments as collaboration requires
Directing and supporting the implementation of new software and hardware
Identifying and recommending new technology solutions
Managing the organization’s help desk (internal, external, or both)
Coordinating IT activities to ensure data availability and network services with as little downtime as necessary
Management of Cisco, Unifi Switches.
Management of Sonicwall Firewalls
Management of HP Aruba WiFi
Management of Cloud based systems like *(Google Apps, Office 365, etc..)
Write scripts and deployment workflows in JAMF Pro
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Apple Certified Support Professional 10.14
Proven experience as a Jr / Sr Systems Administrator
Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications
Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks etc.
Experience in controlling information technology budget
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
Outstanding communication abilities
BSc/BA in computer science, engineering or relevant field; MSc/MA will be a plus
Network Administration required *(Sonicwall, Cisco, Aruba, & Unifi products)
Experience with PCI Compliance procedures and processes using Qualys
Scripting Language Experience required *(Bash, Python & Swift)
JAMF Management & Apple Business Manager experience required
